Do it A N Y W A Y

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.

God Is [[Here]]

When you're in a season of struggle or dealing with a crisis of any kind, losing a loved one, loss of a job, family troubles, etc, it's so important to listen to The Word.  Your emotions will toss you around in multiple directions.  John 1 says The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among (IN) us.  Trust and know there's not a feeling or emotion you're experiencing that The Word hasn't felt or isn't feeling.  Jesus is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.  Allow Him to hold you in place, because He alone is able to do so.  I can imagine when the disciples woke Jesus up in the boat, that they were frantic, scared of losing their lives, and thinking to themselves, Lord don't you care that we're about to die, but Jesus knew He held the power in His hands to calm the winds and the waves of their emotions and the storm!  So whatever you're facing today, know that God is [[here]], holding you, calming you, loving you, through it!  #greatisYOURfaithfulness 

[[Looking past the rear view]]

How do you trust God when there's not a system set up to support you of friends and family geographically accessible? How do you believe that faith is the substance of things hoped for when seemingly all else has failed? How is it possible to walk looking forward when everything in the rear view mirror seems to be overwhelming you? The answer to these questions is this: you must deny yourself the option of looking to anyone or anything else except The One who holds you in place and isn't moved by your circumstances. Jesus is king regardless and I have no tower choice but to trust that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it. Trust Him today. He loves you no matter what and is waiting to blow your mind!  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17

Honest Worship

Honest worship lifts eyes off self and sets them on God. Scripture's best-known worship leader wrote: "Give honor to the Lord, you angels; give honor to the Lord for his glory and strength...[and] for the glory of his name. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness" (Psalm 29:1-2 NLT)

Worship gives God honor, offers him standing ovations.

We can make a big deal about God on Sundays with our songs and on Mondays with out strengths. Every day in every deed.....

"Take your everyday, ordinary life--your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life--and place it before God as an offering" (Romans 12:1 The Message) Worship places God on center stage and us in proper posture.
